I call it commercial collusion. The NBA is

a rigged racket in which they try to

keep the same big market teams as

contenders/champions, because that keeps

the NBA as publicized as possible.

What that means is, the cities of Los Angeles,

Boston, Phoenix, Houston, Miami, Chicago etc,

will be kept always in contention, while

small market teams like the Milwaukee

Bucks, will stink year after year.

It's no accident the struggling Boston

Celtics magically got 2 all stars added in one

year to their roster. That's called owner

collusion!

they will be kept in contention, not that

they always will be. What that means

bottomline is, sure, at various times,

big market teams will become losers,

but the owners and the NBA will try their

best to manipulate the situation so that

they are resurrected in due time.

You see this exact scenerio with Boston

and Los Angeles. Where are the big

trades for Milwaukee, or Atlanta, or

Charlotte, or the Clippers? There won't be any,

because those are not big market cities.
